Koi stone

I started this one a bit ago.. I was just so timid about their heads they are weird and then mother's day came in and I was like well I will just hold off. Then the water issue and I just got a bit bummed but NOW... this one is really awesome!!! I figured out the concrete which helps out a lot! I had the wrong amount needed much more and probably should do the cats over at least one more time of the cement!

Mother's day stone ...

It was a hit!! MOM LOVED IT!! she put it at the bottom of her steps in her back yard!!

I kinda am at a holding pattern... I really want to make my garden markers which Matt put out in the garden and I might add they look Awesome!!! but I don't want them to go to waste piling up in his building! So if you know of anyone that wants to fluff their garden with some really cool veggie markers let me know!!
I can now update my blog from my phone!! No glass today :( but my koi stone is finished

meow meow meow...

The first cat of Mom's stone is done. So 2 more to go and then get it glued down and we may have something by Mother's day! Matt mailed his Mother's stone off yesterday and that only came in at nearly $1 per pound YIKES>>> 37lbs is A lot to be shipping 900 miles but I hope she likes it!

I added cuts 3 and 4 to my hands... OUCH! It really hurts when hair dye or other strong chemical creeps just under the skin... oh my. Pictures to come soon!

Mother's Day stone

I have to make a cat stone now... I have been working on these stained glass creations for about a month now and my own mother had no clue that I even knew how to do such things. SO, with that in mind I am now on a hunt for some kind of cat pattern to place on a stepping stone for my mom. I think I found one made by a major glass company that has these 3 cats lined up that I could easily make mom's cats into a black cat, a furry grey ish fur ball and a turtle coat looking one. It would be a challenge seeing how today IS the 3rd and Mother's day is the 9th... I can do it.. why not?? She deserves it and I am job less so why not??

I just finished my Koi cuts so I just need to place them and then put the mud on the stone I CAN:T wait for that one to be finished!!! I would give that one to mom but she doesn't really like those things so... I must put it on hold for this week and get those kitties done I can't wait to see how they look!!
